Crossdress Morning
03:18
|

Waking up in a dress
Looks like I've been crossdressing again
Can't remember why or when
Now I'm waking up on this bus stop bench
And there's people hanging around
Looks like I'm in the wrong part of town
Waking up in your dress--
It's a crossdress morning
I'm stumbling around in your high-heeled shoes
I've got nowhere to go and nothing to lose
Fat man wants to take me out for a ride
But you're too late, Charlie,
I'm having a good time
And there's people going to work
Everybody's pointing at my miniskirt
Waking up in your dress--
It's a crossdress morning
Walking home in your dress
What a beautiful day to get myself in this mess
And just because I'm wearing the frilly frills
Don't mean I'm not watching the girly girls
And the taxi cabs won't even stop
Looks like I'm doing the high-heeled hop
Walking home in your dress--
It's a crossdress morning

I've been wrong before
But I want you to know that I deny it all
I deny it all
When your baby leaves you cold and
You're one step away from going overboard
That's called freedom, Lord
Freedom, Lord
And a burning man believes that whiskey is fire
And water gasoline
Go on and have another drink
Baby, I was born beautiful, immaculate
But I haven't reattained that level yet
Which leads me to conclude
I'm metaphorically godlike but
Prone to wear the Devil's shoes
And that's the definition of the goddamn blues

Fallin' Leaf
03:51
|

He's an indian, his name is Fallin' Leaf
Hanging on with one hand
drop below must be one hundred feet
He used to carry a torch but it burned out so quickly
He's an indian and the scar across his face
must be one half inch deep
Freak of nature, he lives on the reservation
in a convenience store
what used to be a trailer now sells things
that you might need on your way to the only bar
Customer asks him, 'What happened to your face, child?'
Indian took out a knife and put that man in his place, child
Thought nothing of it, just cleaned up the carpet
(Thought nothing of it, just cleaned up the carpet)
Territory of a big chief's son
Falln' Leaf's not much of a business one
Devil's country on sacred ground
Curse of a fallen child
What comes around goes around
His daddy was a big chief with an ultimate plan
put Fallin' Leaf first in command
something happened and the plan went awry
If not for Fallin' Leaf, his daddy would not have died!
He tried to help him but he couldn't get through
Face was bleeding, nothing else he could do
Women and children did not need to see
the death of a chief that was not necessary
Territory of a big chief's son
Falln' Leaf's not much of a business one
Devil's country on sacred ground
Curse of a fallen child
What comes around goes around
Car comes down the highway with four on the floor
loses its grip and it slips in a collision with the indian's door
the car rolls over and over and explodes
there's a man trapped inside but
Fallin' Leaf don't turn his nose
The light in the storeroom stays on for all of the night
You can see Fallin' Leaf in there with his head upright
Fallin' Leaf just stares straight at the wall
Fallin' Leaf, he stares at nothing at all!
